BOOT stems from discourse on on contemporary photography and related visual aesthetics, exploring the politics of image-based work through an international range of contributors. The publication engages with themes such as subculture, sexuality, fantasy, online culture, underground and DIY communities, and transgressive visuals that challenge conventional representations of reality and society.
